I'm worried about one of my dogs; she's a guide dog named Jaylee-but that's beside the point. She'll be okay for a while, running around and acting perfectly normal, but then she starts to yelp and she can't walk, and she starts shaking. It's something wrong with her back but we don't know what it is..

Take her to the vet.

If you took her to the vet, then they should have told you something. If they didn't, then I'd definitely take her to a different one. It sounds like there's definitely something going on.

Yeah, I aggree. If I were you, I'd take her for a second appinion, even a third if need be. I'd ask a lot of questians, and I'd make them work for the good of your dog, cause it sounds to me like your dog is in a lot of pain.

If she's a large dog it could be a slipped disc which is very painful..I'd take her back and demand better care.

Yes, it sounds as if it's either neurological or related to her spinal colomn in some way. Get. that. dog. to. the. vet. now! And don't take, "I don't know." or "There's nothing wrong." for an answer.

Yes, do get that looked at by at least several doctors, if one of them doesn't give you a satisfactory answer.
